Colts third in league standings

AMHERST – The Amherst Colts have three Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League games on tap this weekend.

On Friday the Colts travel to Liverpool to take on the South Shore Wild, and then on Friday they travel to Windsor where they play the Avon River Rats.

The Colts return home Sunday at 4 p.m. where they host the River Rats at home.

The Colts currently sit in third place in the league standings with 17 points, three points behind the Barrington Sea Star Ice Dogs, and five points behind the Spryfield Silver and Black Attack.

Colts player Ryan Horseman is third in the league point race with 13 goals and 11 asssists, and teammate Andrew Barron is sixth in the standings with 18 goals and four assists.

League point leader is Justin Mabe. He has 19 goals and 18 assists. Barron is second in in the goals category with his 18.
