AMHERST – The first week of the Amherst Adult Hockey League 2013-2014 season is in the books.
The first game of the season last Thursday night had the Elmtree Pub & Grill trouncing Bluewave Energy 10-1, the second game on Sunday had J&K Electric edging Colson Overhead Doors 7-6, and then the third night, Tuesday, saw Colson Overhead Doors beat Elmtree Pub & Grill 5-1.
COLSON OVERHEAD DOORS vs. ELMTREE PUB
Scoring goals for Colson on Tuesday was Josh Coleman, Matt Colson, Luke Crocker, Danny Small and Stephen Skidmore. Scoring assists was Coleman, Small, Skidmore, plus Randy Dunn and Corey Robichaud.
Trevor Peterson scored the lone Elmtree goal, with an assist from Seth Crowe.
J&K ELECTRIC vs. COLSON OVERHEAD DOORS
Scoring for J&K Electric in the 7-6 win win over Colson was Mike Black, Brendon Grimes, Glen Hussy, Adam MacDonald, Dave McLeod, Shane O’Byrne and Jason Rhinas.
Grimes and O’Byrne had two assists each, with single assists scored by Rhinas, Dan Anger and Justin Matthews.
Scoring for Overhead Doors was Preston Burns, Bill Jobes Coleman, Dunn, Skidmore and Small.
Coleman had three assists, with single assists being scored by Burns, Colson, Mike Gould, Bill McNutt, Robichaud and Skidmore.
ELMTREE PUB vs. BLUEWAVE ENERGY
Mike Archibald and Peterson led Elmtree with two goals in their 10-1 win over Bluewave. Adding single goals was Crowe, Robert Evans, Mike Hunter, Corey Skinner and Mitchell Tower. Peters and Skinner added three assists each, with single assist scored by Archibald, Andy Bonnell, Evans, Hunter, and Russell Scott.
Victor Wright scored for Bluewave off a pass from Matt Cormier.
