Joggins Native Finishes First in Port Elgin over Labour Day Weekend

Joggins native Damon Burbine, seen here in this July file photo at Riverglade, finished first in his class over the Labour Day weekend at Strang's MX Park during the penultimate round of the CMRC Atlantic Fall Series. Burbine will be competing at Riverglade in the final round of the aforementioned motocross racing series on Saturday, September 14.

PORT ELGIN-Inside Moto X & Off Road, an online motocross magazine, is reporting that Toys for Big Boys racer Damon Burbine, a native of Joggins, won first place in the 85cc 7-11 year old class over the Labour Day weekend.

Burbine's victory took place at Strang's motocross park near Port Elgin, New Brunswick during the penultimate round of the CMRC Atlantic Fall Series.

Burbine will be competing at the Riverglade MX on Saturday, September 14 during the final round of the aforementioend motocross racing series.
