Dowe wins junior division, McCrossin takes juvenile

PARRSBORO – For the second week in a row Brandon Couvillier was the winner of the Cobra Puma Junior Golf Tour.

Couvillier, who golfs out of the Grandview Golf Course in Dartmouth, fired an 89 on Wednesday to take the Parrsboro leg of the tour that began last week at the Northumberland Sea Side Links in Pugwash.

Brandon Dowe had the top low gross score in the junior division with Gordon Mitchell claiming low net honours, while in juvenile Joel McCrossin won low gross honours and Liam Bradley was the top low net finisher.

Tre Brundage won low gross honours in the midget division with Andrew Lawrence finishing with the top low net score, while in peewee Josh Sheaykowski had the low gross score with Torin Young taking low net honours.

Hattie Nichols won the top low gross award in the ladies division with Acadia Nichols winning the low net prize.

The tour resumes next week at the Springhill Centennial Golf Club.

    Good article- however I think it is embarrassing that the newspaper couldn't get the facts straight nor the proper spelling of Brandon's last name..!!

    His name is Brandon Cuvelier His score was 69 not 89 Good article. He also won a tournament in Truro last week. 3 tournaments in a week He is 14
