DARTMOUTH - Cam Marling scattered three hits in a complete-game shutout as the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry blanked the Truro Bearcats 3-0 on Thursday in the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League.

Chris Head sparked the Dartmouth offence with two hits and four stolen bases, while Greg West and Justin Stephens singled. Adam Lombard, Guy Pellerine and Tim Myers had hits for Truro (1-4).

Dartmouth (5-3) scored two runs in the first inning and added a single in the third for the margin of victory. Jeff Chisholm was the losing pitcher.

The Bearcats are in Sydney Saturday for a doubleheader against the Sooners (5-4).

    Tough times for the 'Cats. Time for an overhaul of the organization as it appears nobody wants to play there anymore. Some people in management have to check their egos, do what is best for the organization and step down to make way for new blood.
