AMHERST - The Amherst Colts will be looking to move further up the Nova Scotia Junior C Hockey League standings this weekend after they made the jump from sixth place into fifth place last weekend with a 7-2 win over the Avon River Rats.


The Colts have 18 points in the NSJCHL standings, and this weekend they have a chance to jump into a three way points tie with the Shannon Huskies and the Spryfield Silver and Black Attack, both of who have 22 points. 


The Colts travel to Chester on Saturday where they face off against the Clippers at 7:15 p.m. Chester is the top team in the league with 32 points.


On Sunday the Colts return home where they will host the Silver and Black attack at Amherst Stadium.


Game time is 4 p.m.
