Baker scores winner as Bantam AA Ramblers edge Warriors

WINDSOR – Dylan Baker scored the winner early in the third period as the Cumberland County Amherst Insurance Ramblers edged the West Hants Warriors 2-1 in Mainland Nova Scotia Bantam AA Hockey League action on Sunday.

Reuben MacKenzie and Madison Colford added assists on the goal.

MacKenzie scored in the first period from Colford to give the Ramblers an early 1-0 lead. Liam Porter tied the game late in the second period.

On Saturday, West Hants struck for three goals in the third period to defeat the Ramblers 5-4.

Jacob Billsborrow scored twice for West Hants, Keenan Such, Liam Kelley and Nick Gerhardt also scored.

MacKenzie, Baker, Colton Hiltz and Chandler MacKinnon each scored for Cumberland County. Colford, MacKenzie, Hiltz and Joel McCrossin added assists.

The Ramblers will be attending the Riverview Christmas tournament, starting on Thursday.
