Ramblers drop 4-1 decision to Tigers

CAMPBELLTON, N.B. – The Campbellton Tigers scored four times in the third period en route to a 4-1 win over the Amherst Ramblers in Maritime Junior Hockey League action here Friday night.

After two scoreless periods, the Tigers scored twice early in the third period before Mitch O'Neill scored an unassisted goal just over 13 minutes into the period. The Tigers came back fast, scoring the third goal just moments later and adding a fourth goal before the end of the period.

Grant West, Andrew Meredith, Dylan Desmeules and Alex Blais scored for the Tigers.

Campbellton outshot the Ramblers 36-34.

Amherst returns to action Saturday night in Miramichi against the Timberwolves and Tuesday night in Dartmouth against the Metro Shipbuilders.
