AMHERST – The Amherst Regional High School Junior Vikettes hosted the Springhill Golden Eagles last night at ARHS, losing 51-46 to the neighbouring town.

Sydney Balser led the Eagles with 25 points, followed by Mallory Thompson with 12, Victoria Varner with four, and Steph McCormick, Brittany Arsenault, Brianna Smith and Jessie Cummings with two points each.

Hannah Beland scored 11 for the JV Vikettes, while Andrea Comeau scored seven, Jessica Wilson, Maddison Bennett and Rachel Chevarie scored six each, Taylor Chitty had four, and Hannah Legere, Risha McKenney and Mia Tooley scored two each.
