Midget AA Ramblers pick up two shutouts

OXFORD – The Cumberland County D.W. Thompson Esso-Scotsburn Dairy Ramblers registered two shutouts over the weekend.

They beat the Bearcats 4-0 on Saturday in Truro, and then trounced the Brookfield Elks 8-0 Sunday in Oxford, Zach Perrin and Ethan Crowe led the Ramblers in the 8-0 win over the Elks with two goals and one assist each. Quintin Merlin, Pat Quinn, Matt Smith and Tristan Boss scored single goals.

Noah Perrin, Joel St. Peter and Smith added single assists.

On Saturday the Ramblers shut out the Bearcats 4-0 off goals from Travis Merritt, Zach Perrin, Jerico MacPhee and Noah Perrin.

Assisting on the goals was Boss, Crowe, and Noah and Zach Perrin.
