AMHERST – Elm Tree Pub & Grill struck for three third period goals en route to a 7-4 win over Colson Overhead Doors in Amherst Adult Hockey League action on Sunday.
Cody Firth had three goals for Elm Tree Pub & Grill, while Justin Matthews had a goal and four assists and Don Canfield had a goal and two assists. Tyler Arseneau and Marshall MacDonald each scored once.
Mitchell Tower and Ian McCarthy each had one assist.
Matt Colson, Luke Crocker, Phil Farrow and Jordie Shaw scored for Colson Overhead Doors, while Josh Coleman and Scott Reid had assists.
In action last Thursday, Matt Cormier had four goals and two assists, Brad Linkletter had two goals and two assists, and Mike Archibald had a goal and three assists as Greg Brennan Contracting defeated J&K Electric 12-7.
Mike Hunter had a goal and two assists, Danny Small had a goal and an assist and Arron Dobson had a goal for Greg Brennan Contracting. Greg Brennan had two assists and Brock Jackson had a single assist.
