KINGSTON – The ARHS Vikings rallied in the final part of the third period to tie the Northumberland Night Hawks 2-2 in action at the West Kings High School Hockey Tournament.

Down 2-0 late in the third period, the Vikings got goals from Joel St. Peters and Stephen Belyea to tie the score.

Evan MacKenzie was solid in nets making a number of key stops to keep Amherst in the game early.

The Vikings return to action Saturday at 11:15 a.m. against the J.L. Ilsley Judges. The final round robin game goes at 8 p.m. against the Eastern Shore Schooners.

Crossovers and final are Sunday.
