The Ramblers were out in front 3-0 after the opening frame, and up 8-0 heading into the third, where the Predators drew first blood in the final frame before the Ramblers added three more.
The Ramblers close out their preseason games with two wins and three losses, dropping games to Colchester and Antigonish AA teams by 5-1 and 11-0 scores, respectively and then split a home and home with Pictou County Subway Selects, losing 3-0 at home and winning the return game 3-2.
For the Predators, it was their first time on the ice as a group this season, playing on very short notice while waiting for the ice to be installed in the Lions Arena in Parrsboro, hopefully by the end of this coming week.
Both teams will swing into regular season this weekend, with the Community Credit Union Ramblers hosting the Antigonish Bulldogs at the Amherst Stadium on Saturday at 2:15 p.m., and Parrsboro will head to Trenton to take on the Pictou Selects.
