ANTIGONISH - Colton Hiltz and Kurtis Langille each had two goals and an assist at the Cumberland County Amherst Insurance Ramblers defeated the Antigonish Bulldogs 6-3 in Mainland Bantam AA Hockey League action on Sunday.
Reuben MacKenzie and Brandon Greeno each scored once for the Ramblers, who led 2-0 after one period and 3-0 after two. Bailey Embree had three assists for the Ramblers, while Justin Leach, Chad Miller, Madison Colford and Brody Deegan each had single assists.
Spencer Barron, Iain MacLellan and Colin Chisholm replied for Antigonish.
Nick McCormick picked up the win in goal.
On Saturday in Springhill, Ryan Kenndy and MacLellan each had two goals and Barron a goal and three assists as Antigonish defeated Cumberland County 7-5.
Andrew Boyle and Chisholm scored single goals for the Bulldogs, who were tied 2-2 after one period and trailed 4-3 after two.
Embree had two goals for Cumberland County, while Langille had a goal and two assists and Hiltz a goal and an assist. Deegan also scored, with Greeno chipping in two assists and Miller adding one.
Zach Parris suffered the loss in goal for Cumberland County.
