AMHERST – The Junior Varsity Vikettes basketball team beat the Parrsboro Warriors 64-12 last night at Amherst Regional High School.

Lauren Chitty led the Vikettes with 10 points, followed by Taylor Chitty and Angel Downey with eight each, Alexa Thompson and Kennedy Black with six each, Jessica Wilson and Mia Furlong with five each, Hannah Legere, Miah Tooley and Gina Gratton with four each, and Andrea Comeau and Maegan Morrison with two each.

Asked about the lopsided victory, Sigut said, “The main thing is that everybody worked hard and had fun.”
