AMHERST – The Midget A Ramblers played to two ties on the weekend.

The first game was a 3-3 tie to Kent South Saturday in Buctouche, with Patrick Ellis leading the way with the hat trick and Lucas Porter registering an assist.

On Sunday they tied Parrsboro 5-5 at Amherst Stadium with Ellis leading the way again with two goals, while Brad Hollis and Kirk Hamilton scored one goal and one assist each, and Cody Rector scoring one goal. Brett Gallant scored two assists and Michael Patterson had one assist for the Ramblers.

Nick Warren and Andrew Fife scored two goals each for Parrsboro, while Fred Johnson added a goal and two assists, and Kevin Wood scored one assist.

 

- Bantam AA Ramblers score 18 goals over weekend

The Cumberland Amherst Insurance Bantam AA Ramblers won all three of their games over the weekend.

They beat the Bantam AA Voyageurs 2-0, with both goals scored in the third period Friday in New Brunswick.

Mackenzie Colford scored the first goal with an assist from Noah Perron, and Travis Merritt scored the second goal.

Evan MacKenzie got the shutout in goal for the Ramblers.

Kolby Benjamin scored four goals in the Rambler 10-1 win over West Hants Saturday at Amherst Stadium.

Mackenzie Colford and Colton Hiltz scored two goals each, and Jesse Gouchie and Doug Barton scored single goals.

Brody Deegan scored three assists in the game, while Barton, Justin Tooke and Joel St. Peter had two assists each. Hiltz, Colford, Benjamin, Merritt, Gouchie, Avard Dearman Madison Colford and Brandon MacDonald scored one goal each.

Jackson got the win in goal for the Ramblers.

On Sunday they played at the Windsor Arena, beating West Hants 6-4.

Scoring for Cumberland was Madison Colford, Benjamin, Perron, Gouchie and Barton.

Deegan scored two assists, with single assists being registered by Madison and Mackenzie Colford, Barton, Hiltz and Gouchie.

Nathan Shute got the win in goal.

 

- Bantam A Ramblers win one of three over weekend

The Cumberland Lions, Scotiabank Bantam A Ramblers lost their first game of the weekend 3-2 against the Kent Centre Bears Friday in Springhill.

Joel McCrossin and Anna Moore scored for the Rambler, with assists being scored by Connor Janes, Chris Beaton and Dillon Baker.

On Saturday in Springhill they beat the Pictou County Bantam A Crushers 4-2 in Springhill.

Brandon Greeno scored two goals, and McCrossin and Baker added one goal each. Chad Miller and Bailey Embree had two assists each, with Nick Farrer adding a single assist.

Nathan Shute played in goal for the Ramblers.

The Ramblers lost 5-1 to the Petitcodiac, Salsbury Flyers Friday at Amherst Stadium.

Chase Goldrich scored the lone Ramblers goal off assists from Mike O’Brien and William Gogan.
