SPRINGHILL – The Cumberland County Blues lost 5-3 to the Bulldogs Sunday night in Antigonish during Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League action.
Jordie Shaw scored two goals, and Matt Noiles added a single goal against the Bulldogs.
Nathan Kelly played in goal for the Blues and the Bulldogs last goal was an empty-netter.
On Friday night in Springhill, a four-goal third period was too much to overcome as the Cumberland County Blues dropped a 7-5 decision to the Glace Bay Miners.
Jordie Shaw scored three times for the Blues while Phil Moreau and Liam Carr each scored once with Geoff Burke chipping in three assists and Garrett MacArthur adding a pair of helpers. Zach Carson, Devin Muir and Matt Noiles each had one assist for the Blues, who play in Antigonish on Sunday.
Neill Kelly suffered the loss in nets for the Blues, facing 29 shots while Scott MacDonald faced 33 shots in the Glace Bay Net.
