AMHERST –The Amherst Regional High School Vikettes soccer team was practicing last night in preparation for the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation provincial soccer championships Friday and Saturday at Central Kings Rural High School. 

The tournament kicks off Friday at 12 p.m. with Central Kings playing Northumberland Regional, followed by the opening ceremonies.

The second game begins at 2:30 p.m. and features Amherst taking on the Northeast Kings Education Centre.

The bronze medal game is Saturday at 10 a.m., with the championship game beginning at 12 p.m.
