AMHERST - After winning 7-6 in a shootout at home Saturday night, the Ramblers traveled to Dieppe Sunday afternoon and downed the Commandos 4-1.

The Commando's went up 1-0 early in Sunday's game but by the end of the first the Ramblers were up 2-1 off goals from Kody Estey and Brett Shute.

The Ramblers went up 4-1 in the second period off goals from Ryan Matheson and Kody Orr. There was no scoring in the third period. Bronson Beaton had an assist on three of the Ramblers goals, with other assists coming off the sticks of Jamie Bishop and Nick Brown.

Shots on goal were 23-23 and Richard Tingley played the entire game for the Ramblers, stopping 22 of the 23 shots fired his way.

The Ramblers won the first game of their home and home 7-6 against Dieppe Saturday at Amherst Stadium.

Immediately after Saturday's game Bottomley said, "[They] battled hard all the way through. They never lost their composure."

There's room to improve, though.

"We haven't worked on any of our systems [yet]," said Bottomley.
