AMHERST – The Casey Concrete Mixers are heading to the Amherst Little League, best-of-five, Championship Series against the Lions.

The Mixers advanced after defeating the Cumberland Paving Cubs 19-5 during the third and final game of their best-of-three, semi-final series last night at the Amherst Little League Complex.

Blake Thompson led the Mixers with a home run and two singles, for five RBI’s.

The best-of-five Championship Series featuring the Mixers and the Lions, and the best-of-three Consolation Series featuring the Cubs and Y’s Guys will begin Wednesday at 6 p.m.
