AMHERST – The Cumberland Paving Cubs upset the Casey Concrete Mixers during game two of their best-of-three series, beating them by a score of 14-11 last night during Amherst Little League action.

The Mixers have dominated the Cubs all season long but last night the Cubs forced a Game-3, which will be played Monday night.

Sam Leblanc pitched the game for the Cubs and struck out five batters, while giving up 13 hits and five walks.

 

The Lions wrapped up their best-of-three semi-final series 2-0 against the Y’s Guys after beating them by a score of 11-1.

Reuben MacKenzie pitched a no hitter for the Lions, striking out 12 batters and walking nine.
