School volunteer Andrew Henderson sold tickets Saturday on a Christmas Card Tree at the the third annual Wentworth Consolidated Elementary School Christmas Craft Sale. The winning ticket will not be drawn until Wednesday, December 11, the night of the school's Christmas Concert

Christmas craft sale goers enjoyed not one, but two Christmas craft sales this past Saturday in the heart of the Wentworth Valley: one at the Wentworth Consolidated Elementary School (third year) and one at the Recreation Centre (23rd annual). Both events attracted their own niche markets without cutting into the others' profits. Thirty-six vendors from across Northern Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island set up shop in the Recreation Centre while another dozen crafters, including one from Fox River, sold their wares at Wentworth Consolidated Elementary School. Four hundred people alone attended the Rec Centre's fair while 60 children had their photo taken with Santa Claus over at the elementary school.
