Air Cadets presented with medals
AMHERST – Several members of the Amherst Anson 154 Air Canadian Air Cadets squadron received medals on March 6, at the Amherst Armouries. Squadron Commander Maralyn Ralph also took time to talk to the cadets about her experience of receiving the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal on Feb. 20, in Sydney. Ralph is one of 100 cadet leaders from across the country to receive the award. She was nominated for the medal by her cadets and superior officers. The medal presentations from Wednesday night are as follows: – BIATHLON Evan Caissie-Stone – Bronze in Team competition. Justina Crowder – Silver in Team competition. Robert Lafreniere – Bronze in Team competition and Gold in Individual competition Miranda March – Gold in Team competition and Silver in Individual competition. Randy MacNevin. – FOUR-YEAR SERVICE MEDALS Randy MacNevin and Brady Bannister.
