JV Vikettes vs. Northumberland Nighthawks
AMHERST – The Northumberland Nighthawks came into Amherst with a short bench on Feb. 5, and paid the price in a 57-20 loss to the Amherst Regional High School JV Vikettes. “They (Vikettes) played very well tonight,” said JV Vikettes coach April Scott. “They’re coming off a week of exams, so I wasn’t sure how they would play but they played very well.” Rachel Chevarie and Hannah Beland led the JV’s in victory with 12 points each, followed by Jessica Wilson with eight, Risha McKenney with five, Miah Tooley with four, and Andrea Comeau, Brooke Wilson, Hannah Legere, Maddison Bennett, and Gina Grattan with two points each.
