Mustang runs wild on Victoria Street

AMHERST – Amherst Police are investigating an accident involving three vehicles in front of Snow White Laundry on East Victoria Street in Amherst on May 30. “A vehicle travelling west on Victoria Street lost control, crossed the centre line and struck two parked vehicles,” said a press release issued by the Amherst Police Department. “The first parked vehicle was unoccupied, while the second parked vehicle contained one occupant, a 61 year old male from Oxford. That occupant was treated by EHS on scene and released. Police say the driver of the westbound vehicle, a 37-year-old Amherst male, did not suffer any injuries. “Two of the three vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be towed,” said the release. “The accident is still under investigation.” The collision occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. The photo's were taken by Dave Mathieson - Amherst Daily news
