Police raid on central N.S. home nets drugs, guns and money

TRURO, N.S. - A police raid on a home in central Nova Scotia turned up a quantity of drugs along with money, guns and ammunition.
Truro police arrested 45-year-old man after turning up at a home with a search warrant Monday.
Police seized approximately 100 grams of marijuana, 25 grams of hashish, more than $2,000 in Canadian money and sets of scales.
Also seized were long guns, two sawed-off shotguns and ammunition.
The man will appear in Truro provincial court to face charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code at a later date.
