You can go away Galloway

Some people think too highly of themselves. Like the case of George Galloway, a controversial Member of Parliament from the United Kingdom who was denied entry into Canada for a speaking engagement because of his alleged connection to a caravan that provided $45,000 in aid to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, a group labeled a terrorist organization by our government.
Not to stand by quietly, Galloway took the Canadian government to court after Jason Kenny, the Minister responsible for Immigration and Multiculturalism, refused to use his clout to help Galloway's entry into the country. Galloway lost his case Monday.
It may not have been Kenney's decision to bar Galloway's visit in the first place but, frankly, why would he want to intervene? If due process by this nation deems someone a concern - especially after that person doles out highly publicized aid to what our nation considers a terrorist organization - then they have no right to cross our borders. Had Kenney used his power to intervene he would be painted a terrorist sympathizer in broad strokes by the same media who are currently clicking their thick tongues and suggesting Kenney opposes freedom of speech.
Galloway, also an anti-war activist, says the government is censoring his message the only way they know how - by refusing him entry to the country. It must be rough having the shoe on the other foot. Galloway has called on his government to refuse entry of a French dignitary and Dutch Member of Parliament, saying the two brought messages of anti-Islam and Neo-Nazism, which fly in the face of his nation's creed.
Galloway is using Canada's self-managed image as a peaceful nation to his own advantage, ignoring his own double-crossings and self-serving agenda.
Unelected officials used policy and due process to determine Galloway is unfit to enter this country. Until there is a change in the rules, he'll just have to get used to the fact no one wants to use their special privileges to award him a pass.
