Family attends anniversary

Spring break is over and the yellow buses are again on the road. Hope all enjoyed the nice weather during this time.
Wilson and Edith Hunsley came and I went to Parkview Restaurant, Oxford, with them on Tuesday evening. This was a supper to honour grand chief of the Maritime Pythian Sisters, Margaret Gilroy, who later attend the meeting of the Oxford Pythian Sisters.
Wednesday I was on the road again to attend Little River Baptist Ladies Circle. In the evening I accompanied Vivian Warwick to Nomads meeting in Amherst.
Norma Tower was collecting for the kidney foundation on Wednesday.
Helen and Rick Estabrooks, accompanied by Erma Estabrooks, visited the Warwicks on Monday evening prior to them leaving on their vacation. Diane Wood, Riverview, N.B., came to stay at the Estabrooks' home to look after the pets.
Nora Nauss, Bridgewater, was an overnight guest with John and Vivian Warwick on Thursday. Vivian enjoyed lunch at the Parkview Restaurant with Mabel Lowther, Nora Nauss and Arnold Barkhouse before Nora returned home that day.
Diane Wood visited with her mother, Elda Lowther, on Friday. Also, pastor Karen and Burton Doucette visited.
David and Pat Taylor, Sussex, N.B., were weekend visitors with her parents, Delbert and Lillian Carter. They were guest speakers at the Nazarene Church in Oxford on Sunday morning.
Family members attending the 60th anniversary of Smith and Eleanor Archibald, Middle Musquodobit, on Sunday were Dorothy Bowser, Gerry Smith, Phyllis Sweeney, Fredericton; Bea and Bill Bowser, Amherst Shore; along with friends and neighbours, a full house indeed. This was an enjoyable occasion. Congratulations also to Clarence and Eva Reid, Truemanville, on their 70th anniversary.
Sheila Thompson was guest of honour at a pot luck luncheon held at the home of Jean and Vernon Mitchell, Amherst, on Tuesday to celebrate her birthday.
Darrell and Sheila Thompson visited with son, Greg and family, Warren, on Saturday night.
Sympathy goes out to the family of the late Gerry Burkhart of Oxford.
Elda Lowther was a supper guest with Diane Wood on Friday at the home of Rick Estabrooks. Also attending were Erma Estabrooks and Jean Morrison.
On Sunday, the three ladies came and had supper with Elda Lowther while John and Vivian went to Truro. They celebrated brother Dickson's birthday. Family attending were Deiter and Krista Warwick with their girls Bethany and Brianna, Oxford, Bill Warwick and Kayla, Truro; John and Vivian and Mother Warwick.
Bethany and Brianna Warwick visited their grandparents on Friday while parent Deiter and Krista Warwick were out for the evening.
Joyce Carscadden, Amherst, visited with her mother, Olive Jackson, on Sunday. afternoon.
