As I finished my notes this morning, Oct. 5,the gravel trucks are tailgating each other past my house taking gravel and asphalt to other districts. They say this is progress but for who? Our pavement to West Brook is worn out, the New Canaan Road looks like my mother's old-fashioned washboard. We pay taxes so we trust our roads will be improved before winter. Drive with caution.
