New Salem -
Hi again from Downtown New Salem, I hope you've all had a wonderful week.
I'd like to send congratulations to Joanna and Matthew MacGillivray on the birth of their daughter, Mahayla. The proud grandparents are Kirk and Beth Reid and Edgar and Irene MacGillivray.
Irene and Edgar MacGillivray recently visited her brother Ronnie Berry and his wife Sharon in Phoenix Arizona for two weeks. They had a wonderful time while there.
I'd like to send get well wishes to Stephanie Morris.
Tom and Bev Robarts and family went to Newfoundland to attend Bev's sister's wedding on Valentines weekend. They all had a wonderful visit while there. My son Murray also went.

On Saturday Doug and Ina Spicer were supper guests of Arden and Hilda Fletcher.
Donnie Fletcher and I are selling lucky duck tickets. They are $1 each and first prize is $3,000. Anyone wishing to purchase a ticket can contact one of us to get one. We will only be selling these tickets for a month. The proceeds are for the ADDA.
On Saturday, April 11 there will be a spring fling held at the Advocate school. I will give more details soon.
On Tuesday afternoons from 1 - 3:30 p.m. Quilting and crafting are being held at Murphy's Store. Everyone is welcome.
