On Wednesday, my brother Randy Davis of Edmonton, Alta. and his girlfriend Wendy Martin of Halifax arrived to spend the Easter Weekend visiting with Darrell Davis and our family. He will be taking a course in Gagetown until July so it will be really nice to have here in the Maritimes for awhile.

On Friday, I was invited to the home of Cathy Myers for supper. It was a wonderful supper, thanks Cathy.
On Saturday, Cody Young, Ryan Crawford, my son Murray and myself went to Advocate for the New Life Breakfast that was held at the Baptist Church Vestry. It was a wonderful breakfast and we do enjoy going to these whenever they take place.
On Saturday, April 14, a casserole supper will be held at the Advocate Fire Hall from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Take out will be available also by calling 392-2478. The cost will be Adults $7 and children 12 and under $4.
The proceeds will go towards the July 1st Canada Day fireworks display in Advocate. They were totally awesome last year and we want to have this fantastic show again this year if not an even better one.

Well thats it for this week, I hope you all have a great week.
With Mothers Day coming up soon I found this cute little poem...
by Charmer I wonder how she does it, holding it together the way she does.
It seems no matter how life gets out of place she puts it back the way it was.
Its always been a mystery, but I guess it must be true.
That there is nothing stronger than a mothers love when she uses Mothers Glue.
Now Mothers Glue is not a recipe, or that sticky stuff used in art.
But its that special love that mothers use to keep your life from falling apart.
Its the way she is always there to listen so you know that everything will be okay.
Its that special bonding hug she gives you to help you make it through the day.
Its the way she is able to touch your face and hold the tears away.
Its the way she stays up all night with you to hold the fears away.
Its the way she makes the sacrifice because shell do anything for you.
Because she knows you just wouldnt make it if she didnt use Mothers Glue
But, if youre still not sure then ask her, and Ill bet shell just smile at you.
Because a mother never uses words, she just uses Mothers Glue.
