Snowbirds commence migration back home

It looks like our deep freeze may be over, with warmer weather on the way.

TIDNISH BRIDGE - It looks like our deep freeze may be over, with warmer weather on the way. Roger and Debby Tizzard of Tidnish have returned home after several weeks in the warm south, visiting relatives and friends in Maine, North and South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana and a side trip to Nassau. Rod and Jean Porter also of Tidnish have returned home after spending time in the warm south with their family.

Scotts cousin Aubrey Chapman of Amherst, underwent a successful heart transplant in Edmonton, Alta., on Saturday, March 10. He is doing well and will be there for an unlimited stay. They are staying with their daughter and family who are hoping for a speedy recovery.

I would like to extend our sympathy to the family of Earl Pettigrew who passed away last week.
