Ralph B. Brayley
PARRSBORO - Ralph B. Brayley, 83, of Parrsboro, Cumberland County passed away Friday, March 2, 2007 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late William H. and Vida (Willigar) Brayley. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was employed with Ferry Aviation and later the Nova Scotia Department of Lands and Forests.
He was an avid hunter, trapper and wildlife artist. He is survived by a son, Eric (Janette), Parrsboro; a sister, Doreen Ripley (Jack), Amherst; grandsons, Jason (Crystal), Yellowknife; Chris, Parrsboro. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; infant sons, Ralph and Lloyd; sisters, Phyllis and Mona; a brother, Lester.
Visitation took place at Smiths Funeral Home, Parrsboro where funeral service were held on March 5 with Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in the Parrsboro Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
