The former Harrison sisters are enjoying their mini reunion - Lillian Gallagher, her daughter-in-law Coreen Gallagher and granddaughter Katie arrived from Whitehorse and Charlotte Forbes from Ottawa. They are visiting with sister Grace and Roderick Kinnear and sister Dayle and Dave Wilson.
And news from former area residents -Greta McAloney has arrived home, having spent four months in Calgary with her son Alan and Wendy and her grandchildren. Kay Spicer has enjoyed a visit from her three granddaughters of Great Village (Terra Lynn, Maddie and Emma). Their father, Terry Spicer, has also been visiting with his mother. The girls and their dad enjoyed a visit to the circus when it was in Amherst on Saturday.
Congratulations to Kristopher Mollon on graduating from Holland College, P.E.I., as a primary care paramedic. Attending the celebration on Sunday, June 21 were his mom Lisa Dunlop, grandmother Diane Warren, sister Amanda and friend Katie O'Neill. Kris is the son of Lisa Dunlop, Maccan, and Wayne Mollon, Beaver Harbour, N.B., grandson of Diane and Sonny Warren, Ross and Barb Dunlop, all of Maccan, and (the late) Hushena Mollon. A special message for Kris from his family: Congratulations, Kris, we are so proud!
Laura Holden's family are home to attend the wedding of her granddaughter Shannon and Chuck on Saturday evening. Sandy Holden arrived from Chilliwack, Margie Tibbo, her daughter Laura Rose and children, all of Calgary, arrived on Friday. Wendy and Clayton Corcoran are visiting in Newfoundland and unable to come. Trevor of Halifax planned to arrive on Saturday.
