Port Greville - Hello everyone! Wow, next week is Christmas, where has the year gone?

First of all I am thrilled to let you know that I was the winner of the merchants basket that the Age of Sail was selling tickets on. I would like to thank all the merchants who participated by donating such beautiful and practical items for the making of the basket.

The Living Christmas Tree was held this past weekend and what a great performance it was. The church was filled both nights and those in attendance were treated to a fantastic arrangement of music, thumbs up to Judy and everyone involved with the production of this years show.

The annual New Years Levee, sponsored by the Shore Drive Community Development Association and the FPW Fire Brigade will take place at the FPW Fire Hall from noon until 2 p.m. Come out and wish everyone a New Years greeting while enjoying a glass of moose milk and a bowl of clam chowder.

There will be no bingo at the fire hall until the first Thursday in March and I will let you know when the card parties will be starting up in the New Year.
