Clinics on Wednesday and Thursday providing flu shots to children aged six months to under five years of age, and pregnant women
Flu clinics scheduled this week for priority groups
The Cypress Health Region's Public Health Nursing department will be hosting a pair of additional immunization clinics this week targeted to individuals in the high risk category.
Clinics will be hosted at the E.I. Wood Building (fourth floor) on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., followed by a full day clinic on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to Saskatchewan Ministry of Health established priorities, the clinics will be providing flu shots to children aged six months to under five years of age, and pregnant women (including those up to four weeks postpartum).
The vaccine is free and no appointment is necessary for this week's clinic. Cypress Health Region officials point out clinics may close without notice if the vaccine supply is exhausted.
