Travel still not recommended in all directions from Swift Current

Travel is still not recommended on the TransCanada Highway along a stretch from Gull Lake to Moose Jaw as ice covered conditions are making the roadway nearly impassable.

South of Swift Current on Highway #4, travel is not recommended from Swift Current to the Junction of Highway #343. In addition, Highway #4 north of Swift Current there is a travel not recommended advisory from the City to the Saskatchewan Landing.

Area motorists are also recommended to avoid Highway #32 from Cabri to Swift Current, while travel is also not recommended on Highway #332 from Hazlet to the Highway #32.

Motorists who have to travel this weekend are reminded to visit the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure Highway Hotline at http://hotline.gov.sk.ca/map/en.html for the most up-to-date highway travel conditions.
