AMHERST - Two masked men are on the loose following an armed robbery at a local restaurant Sunday night.
At around 11 p.m., two masked men entered Connor's Family Restaurant on South Albion Street and demanded money from the lone waitress.
One of the men was brandishing a gun.
Amherst Police Department Staff Sgt. Scott White couldn't release details on the type of weapon used.
"The investigation is still ongoing," White said Monday morning.
The men left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured in the incident.
"No arrests have been made and we have no suspects at this time," White added.
The owner of the restaurant, Rod MacDougall, wasn't in Monday and wasn't expected in until Wednesday.
Anyone with information can contact the Amherst Police Department at 667-8600, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
