HALIFAX - Halifax police say they used a stun gun to subdue an unco-operative robbery suspect.
Police responded to a call Saturday from an apartment in Dartmouth where a man had entered and demanded money while indicating he was armed with a gun.
Officers later encountered the man in a hallway in the building and used the stun weapon after he continued to approach them.
Police say the officers noticed that he had a bulge in his side pants pocket.
They say the man, from East Preston, was treated at the scene and taken into custody with minor injuries.
He faces several charges including robbery with a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon and is to appear in court on Monday.
