Ripley to return for sentencing
Ryan Douglas Ripley, 26, of 29 Ripley Branch Rd., Fenwick, will return for sentencing in April after entering guilty pleas to one count each of failing the breathalyser and failing to appear for identification purposes.
The Crown has requested a pre-sentence report.
Ripley will return for sentencing April 1 at 9:30 a.m.
The incidents occurred Sept. 18, 2009 in Amherst.

Stonehouse fined for failing breathalyser
Allan Ronald James Stonehouse, 24, of 27 Cowan St., Springhill, was fined $1,000 after pleading guilty to one count of failing the breathalyser.
Stonehouse has until Aug. 16 to pay the fine or spend 15 days in custody.
He was also given a 12-month driving prohibition and can apply for the ignition interlock device program after 90 days if he so chooses.
The incident occurred Nov. 22, 2009 in Amherst.

Burbine changes pleas
Brandon Colby Burbine, 21, of 1 Admore Ave., Amherst, was sentenced to 90 days in
custody after changing his plea to guilty on numerous charges.
Burbine changed his plea to guilty to three counts of failing to comply with a probation order and was sentenced to 90 days custody on each count, concurrent to each another and any other sentences imposed that same day or that he's presently serving.
The custodial sentences can be served intermittently from 8 p.m., Fridays to 7 a.m., Mondays.
While not in custody and for six months following the custodial sentences, Burbine is to abide by a probation order with reporting.
He was also ordered to pay restitution in the amounts of $515, $53 and $80, each by July 2.
The incidents occurred between March 14, 2008 and April 14, 2009, and on May 18, 2009, in Amherst.
