Mayor of Richibucto, N.B., accused of impaired driving in car crash

RICHIBUCTO, N.B. - A New Brunswick mayor has been charged with impaired driving in a single-vehicle accident last year.
Richibucto Mayor Meldric Mazerolle, 67, was involved in a Sept. 18 crash on Route 11 in Saint-Charles.
He suffered significant injuries.
Mazerolle will appear in Richibucto provincial court on March 18.
