Emma Landry, 30, of 29 Queen St., Amherst, was given a conditional discharge following six months probation after pleading guilty to one count each of fraud under $5,000 and theft under $5,000.

Landry was given the same six-month probationary sentence with reporting and conditions on each count, concurrent to one another.

She was also given restitution in the amount of $390 for the fraud charge, to be paid by the end of her probationary period.

The incidents occurred between May 1 and July 31, 2009, in Amherst.



Landry given 60 days custody

Mark Anthony Landry, 38, formerly of 48 Crescent Ave., Amherst, was sentenced to 60 days custody after pleading guilty to one count of unlawful entry to a dwelling.

The charge is the included offence of an original count of break and enter.

Landry will serve the custodial sentence intermittently, from 7 p.m. Fridays to 7 a.m. Mondays.

During the week, Landry will find himself under a probation order with reporting and conditions.

The incident occurred July 15, 2009, in Amherst.



LeBlanc fined for marijuana

Robby Joseph LeBlanc, 32, of Fisher Rd., Springhill Junction, was fined $500 after pleading guilty to one count of possession of marijuana.

LeBlanc has until Aug. 9, 2010, to pay the fine.

The incident occurred Nov. 22, 2009, in Nappan.



Mattinson fined for assault, property damage

Felicia Irene Mattinson, 23, of 153 Church St., Amherst, was fined $50 after pleading guilty to one count each of assault and mischief or property damage.

Mattinson was given a $25 fine for each charge, both payable by April 8, 2010.

The incidents occurred Dec. 22, 2009, in Amherst.



Ellis given suspended sentence, probation

Jonathan Bernard Ellis, 22, of 2399 Athol Rd., Springhill, was given a suspended sentence of probation after pleading guilty in January to two counts of theft under $5,000.

Ellis was given the same one-year sentence, with reporting and conditions, for each count, concurrent to one another.

He was also given restitution in the amount of $100 for one count, to be paid by May 1, 2010.

The incidents occurred Aug. 29 and 30, 2009, in Clairmont.



Quinn given suspended sentence, probation

Michael Robert Quinn, 42, of 346 Rodney Rd., Rodney, was given a suspended sentence of probation after entering guilty pleas in January to two counts of theft under $5,000.

Quinn was given the same one-year sentence on each count, concurrent to one another, with reporting and conditions.

One count also came with restitution in the amount of $100, payable by May 1, 2010.

The incidents occurred Aug. 29 and 30, 2009, in Clairmont.
