HALIFAX - Police in Halifax say they had to subdue a man with a stun gun after an attack on several officers.
Police say a 31-year-old man will appear in court today on charges of assaulting police, assault causing bodily harm, attempting to disarm an officer and domestic assault.
Officers were called to a domestic dispute Monday night on Portia White Court.
Police say they tried to approach a man who then allegedly punched an officer in the face, cutting his lip and breaking a tooth.
Police claim the man grabbed the officer around the waist and was trying to get his gun.
Police also allege the man kicked, punched and spit on other officers who were called to the scene.
