ROGERSVILLE, N.B. - Police say the driver of a minivan suffered minor injuries when his vehicle was struck by a railway plow Monday in eastern New Brunswick.
RCMP Sgt. Jeff Johnston says the accident happened around noon near Rogersville as the plow was clearing snow from train tracks.
He says the van crossed the tracks in front of the plow and was struck in the rear.
Johnston says the van driver - a man from the Rogersville area - suffered only a bump to the head and did not require any medical treatment.
He says luckily the plow was only travelling at a slow speed at the time of the accident.
