NEW GLASGOW, N.S. - A Nova Scotia man accused of sexual assault and touching a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose has been released from custody.
The 31-year-old New Glasgow man cannot be named, to protect the identity of the victim.
He was released Wednesday after his mother agreed to a type of bond.
His release conditions include an order to have no contact with the alleged victim and stay 15 metres away from her residence.
