Nova Scotia man facing sex charges released from custody on conditions

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. - A Nova Scotia man accused of sexual assault and touching a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose has been released from custody.
The 31-year-old New Glasgow man cannot be named, to protect the identity of the victim.
He was released Wednesday after his mother agreed to a type of bond.
His release conditions include an order to have no contact with the alleged victim and stay 15 metres away from her residence.
He returns to court to enter pleas on Nov. 23.
