Racing in the 25+ and Vet Master divisions, Lockhart claimed the championship titles after claiming and holding down the first position in each race, for a total of six motos.

Lockhart had already won three nationals prior to Walton this summer, but was sitting in an eleventh overall position going into the week of the TransCanada Grand National. With only one point between him and not qualifying, Lockhart squeaked into to the championship and cleaned house with his 450cc Kawasaki.

Joining Lockhart from Cumberland County was Damon Burbine, who claimed the championship title from the 65 cc ages 10-11 category. Burbine ran 1st in his first two motos and 2nd in his third, but held the top position in points to be named champion. Burbine also ventured into the 85cc category for ages 7-11, netting him ninth-place results.
