Including 211, 511, 811 and 911

AMHERST – Three-digit numbers used for emergencies and other services will not be impactedwhen Nova Scotia moves to 10-digit dialing on Saturday.

Callers will not need to dial one or the area code to access provincial services like 211 (Community and Social Services), 511 (road conditions), 811 (non-emergency health information) or 911 (emergency services).

Calls to toll-free phone line will also be unaffected.
