The case of a Pictou County teacher charged with sexual offenses has been postponed. Amy Hood's case has been adjourned until Sept 29.
Her lawyer Joel Pink is waiting on report that won't be complete until late August. Crown consented to the adjournment. She was not present in court since Pink has been officially designated her lawyer and appeared on her behalf.
Hood was charged by Stellarton RCMP as a result of an 11-week investigation following a complaint received from Thorburn Consolidated School where she taught.
She is charged with one count of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference, two counts of luring minors over the Internet for a sexual purpose and two counts of sexual exploitation of a young person.
