Movie Under the Stars Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.

SPRINGHILL – Kids were filled with wild wonder as Little Ray’s Reptile Zoo visited Springhill Tuesday afternoon.

Kids and their parents convened in the Lions Park to watch Jungle Geoff Battrum delight the curious with a snake, a scorpion, a tortoise, a lizard, and a caiman.

The reptile show is part of the Anniversary Celebrations recognizing the 125th Anniversary of the Town of Springhill.

Tuesday’s celebrations also included a photo scavenger hunt and free ice cream.

The Springhill CIBC sponsored Tuesday’s events.

WEDNESDAY

Wednesdays schedule is as follows:

2 p.m. – Ice Cream Memories at the St. Andrews Wesley United Church.

6-8 p.m. – Lions Park Day. Scotty and the Stars Children’s Entertainment. Giant inflatable Sabertooth Slide. Free healthy barbecue.

4-8 p.m. – 3 on 3 Basketball at the Lions Park basketball court.

8:30 p.m. – Movie Under the Stars. The movie being shown is Frozen.
