Police looking for missing Lower Sackville woman

LOWER SACKVILLE - Halifax police are asking the public to help find a missing Lower Sackville woman.

Monika "Mikki" Selig, 26, hasn't been seen since leaving a friend's home in Dartmouth on June 17.

A release from Halifax Regional Police states Monika “Mikki” Selig, 26, left a friend’s home on Best Street in Dartmouth Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. She did not return to her home in Lower Sackville and hasn’t been seen since.

She’s described as white, five-feet-six-inches tall with a medium build, blue eyes and jet black hair.

She was last seen wearing a white tank top, black sweater, and multi-coloured pants.

The release states that Selig is known to frequent the Spring Garden Road area.

Police don’t believe Selig has met with foul play, but there is concern for her well-being as she suffers from a medical condition that requires ongoing treatment and medication.

Investigators are asking Selig or anyone with information on her whereabouts to call police at (902) 490-5020.
